ZoomLab = kids creating + kids connecting

creating virtual playspaces while connecting with other cultures

The current project between teens in New York and Amsterdam is called Kids Connect.

What do kids do at ZoomLab?

  • they play and create art and theater in an online "connected" environment
  • they learn creative and technological skills while learning about other cultures

Through the use of media technology and the Internet, kids can "connect" with kids in other countries. By learning how to stream images and sounds, they can create a virtual playspace while learning cultural awareness and communicating through performance.

Online collaborative play promotes cultural understanding and connection via media technology education and artistic initiatives.
