Were you here for the Playback Theatre workshop? (Playback, Zoomie Zoomie) If so, what kinds of things did you learn in it? What was your favorite thing in it? Why? I was at the play back theatre workshop I learned how to perform in theatre by making up things a s it comes to mind. My favorite thing was the game Zoomie Zoomie because it was fun and it a twist because as it went on it got harder but it was also fun.

Were you here for the Neo-futurist workshop? (Jambalaya Blowdryer, writing, improvising) If so, what kinds of things did you learn in it? What was your favorite thing in it? Why? Yes I was at the Neo-futurist workshop I learned that you could make up things as you go along and people would not care. My favorite thing was automatic writing because you write what ever you want.

What did you learn on the field trip? I learned a lot I didn’t know that there was so much Dutch history in Manhattan. Also I saw buildings that had Dutch history that I didn’t know about.

Before this program, had you ever shot or edited video before? Had you ever recorded or edited sound before? Had you heard of streaming video? Now that you know how to do these things, would you do them again? I never edited sound or video I just learned and yes I would do it all again.

What's the coolest thing you've done/learned in the workshop so far? The coolest thing I learned is second life because it cool and the graphics are amazing.

What is the most surprising thing you've experienced in Kids Connect? How so? The most surprising thing we are going to do talk to kids in Amsterdam. and i never used a web cam and i am happy to use one when we do talk to the kids.

What did you learn in the first week? In my first week I learned video editing.

What did you learn in the second week? In my second week I learned sound editing.

What has been your favorite workshop so far, and why? The playback theatre workshop because it was so fun and cool.

What is your favorite technical skill we have learned so far, and why? The technical skill I learned is video editing because I could take what ever I don’t want in my video.

What have you learned about digital media? I learned a lot about cameras and video sound.

July 19

Today we did a workshop called visual performance it was cool and fun. We took videos and changed them by adding graphics and 3D objects. We added diffrent kinds of sound and videos and colors to make the video cooler and better. We did a kind of a video chat room but we talked using video grapics.

Today we did a sound workshop we listened to sounds in the room. We had put sounds in second lfe.The sounds were put in buy paying ten dollars.We are going to put the sounds in to door and cars in second life.We took a walk throuh brooklyn to listen to sound a see if we would put them in second life.

Today we thought of stuff to make in second life like malls football feild ect. We are making a movie theratre in second life we started today we hope to finish in two days. i think in second life the children grid and the main grid should have a meeting place because the kids in Amsterdam are older so the cant meet us in second life. I hope in the near furture we meet them in second life.
